Emerson Palmieri’s agent Leonardo Cornacini has seemingly ruled out that his client will be leaving Chelsea in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

“He still has years left on his contract,” he began an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb.

“He is happy and the club are happy to keep him. We are certain that his future is in London.”

The Italian has drawn strong links to several clubs in recent months including Inter, where Antonio Conte is set to become the new manager.

Conte signed former Roma man Emerson whilst in charge at the blues but as per his agent’s comments there will be no re-uniting between the pair this Summer.

The 24-year-old is under contract with Chelsea through to the end of the 2021/22 season and made 27 appearances during the 2018/19 season. In 2250 minutes on the field, he scored one goal and tallied two assists under the stewardship of former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri.
