Whilst reports persist that Inter could look to sell Radja Nainggolan, Inter manager Antonio Conte could block his exit in favour of trying to revive the Belgian to previous levels as per a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 31-year-old midfielder joined Inter last Summer in a near €40 million deal from Roma but his debut season in Nerazzurri did not go exactly as planned.

His campaign was disrupted by a series of injuries whilst there were also some off-field issues which led to him performing as expected on very few occasions.

Nainggolan is under contract with Inter for a further three seasons and has already seemingly dismissed the possibility of leaving after just one season himself in a recent interview.

In the 2018/19 season, Nainggolan made 36 appearances across all competitions. In 2443 minutes on the field, he scored seven times, including the goal that clinched Inter their place in next season’s Champions League group stage.
