Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that Alexis Sanchez could still have a future at the club.

In the past few days, the Chilean completed a loan switch to Inter and Solskjaer has shared his hopes that the 30-year-old can get his career back on track after a dismal spell at Old Trafford.

“I am sure we will see Alexis back. We have just got to hope that he plays regular football for a year now and then he can find his form,” he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

“I had a chat with him and for me, if I can’t guarantee regular football for Alexis Sánchez it is better for the two of us that he goes and plays in Italy and shows us what we know he is capable of.”

Sanchez, who has previously played in Italy with Udinese, could well make his debut for Inter as early as tonight’s match away to Cagliari.
