Noted Agent Damiani: “Inter’s Icardi Must Think About His Career”

Football agent Oscar Damiani has shared his hopes for a solution to be found in the ongoing Mauro Icardi saga.

The 26-year-old Argentine recently launched legal action against the club for the way he has been treated in recent months and it remains to be seen whether or not he will be able to secure a move away from the club before tonight’s deadline.

“It is difficult to say how the story will end but I hope that Icardi will find a team and go and play because he cannot stay in Milan,” he remarked in an interview with Radio 1.

“In my opinion, as a former player myself, staying in Milan would not be the best thing for his career. I hope that Marotta, who is a great director, and Wanda managed to find a solution by this evening.

“Icardi must think about his career, he can play football away from Milan. I understand the fans frustrations but you just have to turn the page and look ahead.”
