Christian Vieri has heaped praise upon Inter striker Romelu Lukaku for the way in which he has started out life in Nerazzurri.
Belgian international Lukaku has two goals in two games since his recent club record transfer arrival from Premier League club Manchester United.
“He is a very strong player and that is what Conte wanted. He scores and helps his teammates out, he does everything he can,” Vieri remarked in an interview as he appeared as a guest on Sport Mediaset show Tiki Taka.
Vieri also spoke on the effect that Antonio Conte has had on Inter since taking charge earlier this Summer.
“Conte has given Inter so much energy and they have won two games out of two, the effect is already visible. If Juventus wants to win the title this season, they must fight and suffer for all 38 games. Inter and Napoli will be right up there until the end.”
