Evergrande Group car brand, Hengda Hengchi are set to become Inter’s brand new car sponsor according to a report from Chinese media outlet Titan Sports.

Inter will pocket an estimated €100 million from the deal with Hengda Hengchi, who produce a range of electric powered cars.

Evergrande Group founder and president Xu Jiayin joined Suning and Inter owner Jindong Zhang on his recent visit to Milan in a visit used to hold talks over potential sponsorship and how the Hengda Hengchi brand can enter European and global markets thanks to Inter.

Suning have already began to broadcast Hengda Hengchi cars in adverts on PPTV – the Suning Sports channels -which suggests that negotiations are at an extremely advanced stage between the two parties.

Reports in Italian media have recently stated that Evergrande could well take over from Inter’s main shirt sponsor Pirelli once their deal with the Nerazzurri club expires at the end of the 2020/21 season.
