Former Inter striker Christian Vieri has shared his belief that Inter are more up for winning the Serie A title this season than arch-rivals Juventus are after Inter returned to top spot following their win over SPAL this weekend.

“Conte is a drill sergeant and a motivator, he keeps everyone on their toes to the end. I think Inter are hungrier than Juventus, who have been winning for eight years in a row,” he explained in an interview with Sport Mediaset show Tiki Taka.

He was also asked how he thinks the Nerazzurri will fare in their final Champions League group stage match at home to Barcelona next week.

Inter know that matching the result Borussia Dortmund achieve will secure them their place in the next round but it will be far from easy given Barcelona are one of the favourites to go all the way and win the tournament.

“I see Inter winning against Barcelona.”
