Inter are willing to give Christian Eriksen the same €10 million annual salary which they give to manager Antonio Conte according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Inter will offer this salary due to the recent changes to taxation for foreigners coming to live and work in Italy which means taxation rates are lower for a few years.

The Nerazzurri have been in contact with the 27-year-old Danish playmaker’s agent Martin Schoots and promised him a big commission fee if he convinces his client to choose Inter over other options on the table.

His contract is due to expire at the end of the season and Inter are looking to sign him on a free transfer in the Summer but it is understood that Tottenham Hotspur are looking to try and get rid of him this transfer window to ensure that they get some money for him.

The report goes on to state that whilst Inter are working on Eriksen, the priority remains Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal. Conte is understood to see him as his number one transfer target and the ideal player to come in and bolster his squad.

It also goes on to add that moves for Chelsea duo Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri look dead in the water due to the fact Chelsea are demanding too much for them.
