In an interview with Italian radio station Radio 24, during the show ‘Tutto Convocati’, earlier on today, former Inter midfielder Evaristo Beccalossi has discussed the importance of Marcelo Brozovic to the Inter cause after the difference he made when he came on against Udinese.
Prior to Brozovic coming on at the Stadio Friuli on Sunday night, Inter were really struggling but soon after he came on, Inter fired in two goals in quick succession and looked much better.
“The team changed in Udine when he came on, that is a fact. He makes a difference in the role he plays and he is the reference point of Inter,” Beccalossi insisted during the interview.
Brozovic has made 27 appearances across all competitions this season for Inter in which he has scored two goals and provided five assists.
Beccalossi, who spent six years with Inter between 1978 and 1984, also commented on Inter’s transfer market business.
During the January transfer window Inter signed wing backs Ashley Young and Victor Moses from Manchester United and Chelsea respectively and also added world class attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur to their ranks.
“With the January transfer market Inter have completed the squad but Juventus are always the team to beat.”
