The Italian U-17 national team has reached the final of the European Championships for the first time in history after having beaten the host nation Slovakia 2-0 in the semifinal. Inter have six players in the squad and five of these players played in the semifinal: Dimarco, Palazzi, Steffé, Sciacca and Bonazzoli where the two latter names were brought on during the second half.
