Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri are two of a group of eight players who could be dumped by Chelsea at the end of the season according to a report from British newspaper The Sun.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard wishes to really improve the squad for next season and part of that involves him offloading players.
Lampard is well aware that the squad he currently has available to him is not good enough to achieve what Chelsea want, particularly when it comes to competing in Europe.
Ross Barkley, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Jorginho, Kurt Zouma, Willian and Pedro, on top of the two mentioned above, are all understood to be at risk of being moved on in the coming months.
As per various reports in the Italian media in recent weeks and months, Inter have shown an interest in both Alonso and Palmieri as they look to strengthen at wing back.
The Nerazzurri went in for both players in January but were put off by Chelsea’s asking price for them. Things could be different in the Summer though.
