Inter striker Romelu Lukaku has stated that he will make a return to his first club Anderlecht nearer to the end of his playing career.

The 26-year-old Belgian national team striker ran a question and answers session on his official Instagram profile via the social media platform’s story feature and whilst he was asked many questions about Inter and his Nerazzurri teammates, he was also asked a question about his future.

Two of his followers took the opportunity to ask the former Manchester United forward if he will return to the Belgian Pro League side later in his career to which Lukaku responded: “for at least two years” and “at 34, I think.”

Lukaku joined Anderlecht as a youngster back in 2006 and made his debut for the club aged just 16 back in 2009. Little over two years later, Chelsea came in and bought him.

He would spent spells out on loan at West Brom and Everton before joining the latter on a permanent basis. He then joined Manchester United and spent a few years with them before joining Inter this past Summer.
