Inter owned central midfielder Radja Nainggolan is facing an uncertain future according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Belgian is currently out on loan at fellow Serie A club Cagliari and there is a chance he could stay on a permanent basis but Inter’s current asking price for him is too much for the Rossoblu club, a club Nainggolan holds especially close.

As per the report, Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta wants at least €15 million for the 31-year-old, who has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2021/22 season.

If Inter agree to drop their demands, Cagliari could well sign him up on a permanent basis but if they do not sign him it remains to be seen what will happen with Nainggolan, who was told he was not part of the club’s project by club management last Summer.

Whilst on loan at the Sardinian club, Nainggolan has made 24 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored five goals and provided six assists.
