Inter and Juventus are set to vie with one another for the signature of Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
Both clubs have identified the Italian national team full back as a target ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window with each side looking to bolster their full back departments in the coming months.
As per the report, Chelsea, who he has played for since January 2018, want in the region of €30 million to let him depart the club.
Juventus want him as he could potentially replace Alex Sandro whilst Inter manager Antonio Conte is keen to work with the 25-year-old and has given Inter management his blessing to pursue a move for him.
This season Emerson has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date. In 1341 minutes on the field in total, he has contributed a single assist and helped Chelsea keep two clean sheets.
