Radja Nainggolan will start on a par with all other Inter players and will be given chance to prove his worth during pre-season training according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Nainggolan, Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi were all purged from the team ahead of the 2019/20 season with Nainggolan sent out on loan to fellow Serie A side Cagliari.

Inter and Cagliari met for talks over the Belgian on Monday but were unable to find an agreement and the player will therefore be back with Inter ahead of the fast approaching 2020/21 season.

An earlier report from Sky Sport Italia stated that Nainggolan is keen to convince Inter manager Antonio Conte of his abilities and with this report stating that the former Roma player will start on a level playing field with his teammates, his bid to convince Conte will certainly be easier.

In the 2019/20 season Nainggolan made 29 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he scored six goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
