There is a possibility that Radja Nainggolan could be reinstated at Inter according to Italian football journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.

Nainggolan spent the 2019/20 season on loan at fellow Serie A side Cagliari after he was judged to be out of the Nerazzurri club’s project alongside Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi.

Nainggolan’s time with the club appeared certain to be over but Pedulla has claimed that relations between Nainggolan and the club as well as manager Antonio Conte have been restored.

Due to the restoration of relations, the former Belgian national team central midfielder could get another go at things at Inter, who he joined in a players plus cash deal from Roma back in the Summer of 2018.

“Seeing Vidal and Nainggolan together at Inter is a possibility, not a certainty. I’m not 100% convinced that Nainggolan will stay at Inter, not even 90% or 80%,” Pedulla explained whilst present in the studios of Italian broadcaster SportItalia late last night.

“Nainggolan made himself available with great enthusiasm, now there is an important relationship restored with the club and with the coach. I can not give certainty that come September 20 he will still be there. Exchanges can develop or a great offer from Cagliari could arrive.”

In the 2019/20 season, Nainggolan made 29 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored six goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
