Inter have confirmed that central midfielder Radja Nainggolan will not be travelling with the Inter team for tomorrow evening’s match away to Benevento, moments ago via their official Twitter profile.

The Belgian player will not be travelling with the team and will not play any part in the match at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito due to suffering from pharyngitis.

Inter have not specified how serious Nainggolan’s illness is nor have they given any indication as to whether or not he will be available for this coming weekend’s match away to Lazio.

Nainggolan joined Inter back in the Summer of 2018 from fellow Serie A club Roma in a players plus cash deal and he still has just under two years left to go on his contract with the club.

Since his arrival, the 32-year-old has made 37 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored seven goals and provided a total of three assists for his Nerazzurri teammates.
