Marcelo Brozovic could be a beneficiary of the four positive COVID-19 tests at Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Brozovic started Inter’s first game but has since started on the bench in each of Inter’s next two matches but with two Inter midfielders having tested positive for COVID-19 things could change for the Croatian.

Inter failed to sell him in the most recent transfer window and they did not try to sell him due to poor performances but rather because he would have guaranteed a big capital gain. Brozovic now must try to win his place back in the Inter squad and become a protagonist again.

The report goes on to state that Brozovic is his own biggest enemy but knows that when he plays at the peak of his powers, he has nobody to fear.

This season he has made three appearances but has failed to make any goal contributions in just over 100 minutes on the park.
