Marcelo Brozovic is more likely to be handed the start of Christian Eriksen in tomorrow’s Derby della Madonnina according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.

Inter manager Antonio Conte finds his options in the midfield severely depleted due to Stefano Sensi’s qualification and Radja Nainggolan and Roberto Gagliardini both having COVID-19.

Conte has just four players to chose from to fill three midfield positions. Arturo Vidal and Nicolo Barella will start and it seems that it will be Brozovic who will complete the midfield rather than Eriksen.

The report from the broadcaster explains that the reason Brozovic is more likely to start is due to the absences of Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni from the defence and the need for balance in the team.

Inter versus AC Milan is to take place tomorrow evening at 6pm local time at San Siro.
