As he closes in on a move away from the club, Inter have already begun planning for life after Achraf Hakimi and will target Roma full-back Alessandro Florenzi.

As reported by Italian television channel SportMediaset, and via FCInter1908.it, the Nerazzurri will cash in on Hakimi in order to raise funds and combat their financial worries, with Paris Saint-Germain leading Chelsea and Bayern Munich in being the Moroccan’s most likely destination.

Should Hakimi depart, Inter will turn their attention to bringing in Roma’s Florenzi, who is not expected to remain at PSG after a season on loan in Ligue 1.

However, the Nerazzurri will also use the funds to reinforce their left flank and will look to secure a deal for Chelsea’s Italian international Emerson Palmieri after he struggled to establish himself under Thomas Tuchel.

Similarly, they will attempt to bring Federico Dimarco back to the club, having sent him out on loan to Hellas Verona this term. The Gialloblu have an option to make the deal permanent, but Inter will seek to negotiate an immediate buy back.

With Ashley Young set to depart on a free transfer and Ivan Perisic’s future in doubt, Inter have made strengthening the wing-back positions on both sides a priority.
