Inter will not need to sell any more star players after Achraf Hakimi joins Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report in Italy today.

Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said the Nerazzurri were due to receive €70 million from his departure and Joao Mario’s permanent move back to Sporting CP.

After those two sales are secured, Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio will only sit down and begin talks for Inter’s players if they receive very convincing offers.

No clubs will be able to lowball the Nerazzurri, the report assured, giving Inter’s directors the chance to work calmly on giving Simone Inzaghi a strong squad for next season.

Romelu Lukaku, Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoni are three untouchable players for Inter and it will be much easier to keep them if Hakimi and Joao Mario’s deals go through.

Inter would still listen to offers if they were very high but only if it truly respected their valuation of the player in question, and that is where Lautaro Martinez enters the discussion.

Lautaro has admirers in La Liga with Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona all interested, and El Toro has apparently yet to confirm whether he is convinced by Inter’s project for next season.

However, Inter ‘will not even answer the phone’ to discuss the 23-year-old unless a club offers €80-90 million.
