Inter could make a move for a young Bosnian defender from Malmo this summer as they look to find cheaper transfers than normal, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Malmo’s Anel Ahmedhodzic is now a target for the Nerazzurri but he would likely be loaned back out as soon as he arrives at the club.

The 22-year-old was born in Malmo and played for the Swedish national youth teams as well as making one appearance for the senior team.

He also holds Bosnian citizenship and he has now made six appearances for the Bosnian senior team. He has made 16 appearances for Malmo so far in 2021 and he is being closely tracked by teams such as Manchester United.

It is believed that a deal for the centre-back would take around €6 million but with other clubs interested, it could rise very quickly.
