Inter left-back Dalbert could be bound for Cagliari for next season, with the Sardinian club interested in the Brazilian who Inter hope to sell.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the player’s move to Trabzonspor is off and the Nerazzurri are in search of another buyer for him.

The 27-year-old is a player who the Nerazzurri are hoping to offload in the summer, and it had been reported that Turkish side Trabzonspor had been close to his signature, but the player rejected the move, with his not wanting to move to Turkey with his family thought to be a major factor.

The Rossoblu have registered an interest in the player, and could represent a destination for him should he wish to stay in Italy.

Moreover, Dalbert could enter into existing negotiations between Cagliari and Inter, with the Nerazzurri hoping to sign Nahitan Nandez from the Sardinian club and the Rossoblu still looking to bring in Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

However, for the time Nandez in particular is a deal in which there is some distance between the two clubs, with Inter only interested in a loan for the Uruguayan, who has a release clause of €36 million at Cagliari.
