Inter are hoping to bring in both PSV’s Denzel Dumfries and Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez for the right-hand side of the pitch.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that Dumfries is the priority option for the role while the club are still working towards Nandez in the hopes that his current club can be convinced to agree on a deal.

Dumfries is thought to be the Nerazzurri’s first choice to replace Achraf Hakimi on the right after the Moroccan’s sale to Paris Saint-Germain last month, and he will cost €13-15 million.

The club are rapidly stepping up their pursuit of the Dutchman with the funds to secure him now available in their budget and will hope to have his signing wrapped up soon.

Nandez, meanwhile, is still a target, with the versatile Uruguayan having already considered to be a profile who could fill in on the right proficiently as well as in midfield, and the Nerazzurri will not abandon their chase for him even if they are to bring Dumfries in.
