Inter defender Stefan de Vrij is expected to be fit to start the match against Cagliari this weekend, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Dutchman has been out injured for nearly a month after he suffered a problem whilst away on international duty with The Netherlands.
Simone Inzaghi has been suffering something of a crisis in defence as multiple players have been out injured but that looks set to come to an end.
Stefan de Vrij will return along with Andrea Ranocchia and Aleksander Kolarov. Matteo Darmian will still be absent, however.
Joaquin Correa will not be available for the match against the Sardinian side and will be evaluated at the beginning of next week.
Denzel Dumfries was withdrawn at halftime against Real Madrid with muscular discomfort and it is not clear if he will recover in time or not.
