Intr are continuing to work hard on retaining Croatian duo Marcelo Brozovic and Ivan Perisic as their importance continues to grow, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by Roman daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport, there will be new contacts between the club and Marcelo Brozovic both today and tomorrow so that a deal can be struck before Christmas comes around.
It would appear that an agreement is not imminent right now between the two parties but talks are ongoing.
As for Ivan Perisic, he showed yet again against Real Madrid that his importance to the team is extremely. He, like his Croatian teammate, is out of contract in June 2022. Until his recent good form, he looked destined to leave the club for free.
