Inter have posted a number of impressive figures over the course of 2021 such as managing to score 104 goals in the calendar year, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Nerazzurri have scored 104 goals as well as 104 Serie A points over the whole of 2021 which of course encompasses the second half of Antonio Conte’s final season in charge of the club.

The fact that Simone Inzaghi was able to join the club in a relatively unexpected manner and then get the team to score even more goals whilst also losing Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi is particularly impressive.

For the first time in the club’s long and illustrious history, Inter have won six games on the bounce in Serie A without conceding a single goal. They scored 17 times without reply in that spell.

That is why Inter are the winter champions with a four point lead.
