Inter are currently nearer to Sassuolo’s demands for Gianluca Scamacca than Juventus are, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Juventus have already made a proposal to Sassuolo for the young Italian striker but it is further far from the figure that the Neroverdi wants.

The Bianconeri have offered €35 million for the striker’s services but Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali is looking more for a fee of around €40-45 million.

This is the fee that Inter are thought to be prepared to offer, given they are also in a position where they can offer Andrea Pinamonti as part of the deal.

Inter’s plan is to lay out a progression path for the player that would see him act as cover for Edin Dzeko during his first season at the club and then assuming the Bosnian will retire or move on, Gianluca Scamacca then takes his place.
