Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has become Inter’s 17th different goalscorer this season which is a figure that has only been beaten twice in the past.
As has been pointed out by stats specialists Opta Paolo on Twitter, Marcelo Brozovic’s goal against Spezia on Friday night to make it 1-0 means that Inter are just one goal away from equalling the record of different goalscorers.
18 different players scored in the 2007/08 season and 2019/20 season when Antonio Conte was in charge.
17 – With Marcelo Brozovic, Inter have scored with 17 different players; the Nerazzurri have only done better in a single Serie A season in 2007/08 and 2019/20 (18). Cooperative.#SpeziaInter pic.twitter.com/mXz8tcinRw
