Inter are required to end the summer transfer window with a profit of €60 million and a wage reduction of 15%, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by Tuttosport, Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio will have to pull off the same sort of tricks that they managed in the summer 2021 transfer window.
Unfortunately for Inter fans, one of the main ingredients of that is to sell at least one major player from the club.
The most likely to go would be Lautaro Martinez as he is the easiest to replace with Juventus’ Paulo Dybala and he has suitors in Spain that would be willing to pay a lot of money for him. Denzel Dumfries may also be sold if transfer interest in him continues and a profit can be made.
Realistically, any valuable player at the club could be sold if the right bid comes in.
