Former Inter and Juventus midfielder Cristiano Zanetti believes that it’s the Nerazzurri who have more quality in the Coppa Italia final between his two old teams this evening.
Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoJuve.com, Zanetti stressed that while anything can happen in a one-off match, Inter look to be the stronger team, while he also predicted that Paulo Dybala will give his all for the Bianconeri.
Inter will not be under any illusions that their match against the Bianconeri tomorrow will be anything other than a massive challenge, as clashes with that particular opposition always are.
However, the Nerazzurri come into the match on the back of very impressive form, having failed to win only one of their matches across all competitions since the start of last month.
Zanetti gave his prediction that “Matches like tomorrow’s Coppa Italia final are always decided by the episodes, but at the moment Inter have an edge in quality.”
Zanetti also predicted that Dybala will do everything he can to help the Bianconeri win the match even though it is one of his final matches for the club, with Inter his possible destination for next season.
“He’s a professional,” he said, “he won’t be affected by it. Dybala always makes the difference, but lately rather than individual form he’s lacked the support of the collective.”
