Inter are already in talks with the Sporting Director of Cagliari Stefano Capozucca to try and work out a deal to sign wingback Raoul Bellanova.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are working quickly to try and get a deal for the 22-year-old over the line and have offered to loan Cesare Casadei to the Rossoblu as part of a deal.

Bellanova is the Nerazzurri’s top target at wingback for the summer, with the 22-year-old having emerged ahead of the likes of Udinese’s Destiny Udogie and Genoa’s Andrea Cambiaso.

The position is one of need following the departure of Ivan Perisic, and the club do not want to wait around even though the completion of a deal could have to wait until a sale is made.

The talks with Cagliari have started, and given the Sardinians’ hopes of coming straight back up to Serie A following their recent relegation, Inter are hoping that they can be convinced by the inclusion of a Casadei loan in an offer.
