Inter Primavera wingback Franco Carboni is getting closer to a Hellas Verona loan move for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 19-year-old’s agent Beppe Riso was at the Nerazzurri headquarters yesterday, where a possible loan to the Gialloblu was discussed.

Carboni was one of the outstanding players in Inter’s Primavera team last season who looks to be very nearly ready for making the step up to senior football.

Verona are keen on the Argentine, and could represent the right destination for him to make the step into playing regular football at the senior level to further his development and gain experience beyond what he has in the Nerazzurri’s youth sector.

Riso and the Nerazzurri discussed the situation and the interest of the Gialloblu, and things look to be heading in the direction of Carboni joining Verona on loan next season.
