Torino Sporting Director Davide Vagnati has acknowledged that both Inter and Juventus are actively working to try and sign defender Bremer.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, the executive explained that he and his colleagues had indeed met with the Nerazzurri yesterday evening and will also meet with the Bianconeri today, and that right now the situation is still unfolding.

Inter have been anticipated to make a move for Bremer for some time, with a personal agreement with the player having long been in place but talks with the Granata never having really taken off.

The Nerazzurri chose the beginning of this week to finally try and get a deal over the line for the 25-year-old, but in the meantime the Bianconeri have arrived on the scene as they target him as a replacement for Bayern Munich-bound Matthijs de Ligt.

Vagnati makes no secret of the fact that both clubs are trying to sign the Brazilian, but as of yet things are still up in the air.

“We had dinner, everything went well with Inter,” he said. “We had a good chat.”

Regarding the timing for certainty on the player’s future Vagnati said that “Let’s see what happens, there’s no rush. The transfer window still has a long way to go, let’s see what happens.”

Of Juventus’s offer, the Granata executive said that “We’re in talks with both clubs.”
