Paris Saint Germain are not expected to make a new bid for Inter’s Milan Skriniar any time soon as they seek cheaper defensive targets, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, PSG are effectively pulling out of the race to sign Milan Skriniar from Inter as there is a stalemate in the negotiations.

Inter still want to receive at least €70 million for the Slovakian defender but the French champions haven’t moved above €53 million and €7 million in bonuses.

Inter are even less likely to drop the price now that they cannot sign Gleison Bremer from Juventus to be the replacement.

PSG are going to pursue some cheaper targets and the intermediaries from their side have been clear that no increased bid is on the way right now.

The news does not mean that Milan Skriniar is definitely staying at Inter but it means he won’t be joining PSG very soon.
