Paris Saint-Germain still consider Inter defender Milan Skriniar a target despite the fact that their chase of the Slovakian is now very much on standby.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are still aware of interest from the French champions in signing Skriniar before the summer transfer window slams shut.

Remaining at Inter looks like a more and more likely outcome for Skriniar this summer after events of the past couple weeks, with PSG’s interest having cooled right as the Nerazzurri missed out on signing key defensive target Bremer.

The Parisians’ most recent offer came nearly a month ago and was far from meeting Inter’s asking price, and so it does not look as though they are keen to make the kind of big financial push that would be necessary to get a deal done.

Nevertheless, the interest from PSG is not completely dead and Inter are wary of what could happen in the next month.
