Inter defender Milan Skriniar is more than happy with what now looks to be the resolution to his situation that will see him remain with the the Nerazzurri rather than joining Paris Saint-Germain.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 27-year-old is happy with his family in Milan and that he feels that a stay at Inter is the ideal option in terms of his personal life.

Skriniar had been willing to accept a move to PSG had the clubs agreed on a deal, where he could find a new challenge and also earn more than he possibly could at Inter.

However, the Slovakian never particularly pushed for the move and is by all accounts happy to stay at Inter, with one of the major reasons being that he is settled in with his family who enjoy life in the city of Milan.

Moreover, Skriniar has developed into a seriously important figure at Inter in the dressing room as much as on the pitch, and he is hardly opposed to staying at the team where he has already developed strong personal bonds with many of his teammates rather than having to settle into a new environment in Paris.
