Inter are set to begin talks with defenders Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij regarding contract extensions during and after the upcoming international break.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have set a timeline to start negotiating new deals for the pair of defenders, whose current contracts both expire at the end of June 2023.

Skriniar and de Vrij both went into the season without having left Inter during the summer transfer window despite each having been linked with potential moves away.

Now, the club will look to extend both players’ deals, as they will not be keen to lose either on free transfers at the end of the current season when their contracts run out.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri will not want either player’s situation to drag on for too long and they are planning to begin the talks with both players and their representatives during the international break later this month.
