Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio is very impressed by Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Alexis Mac Allister and has made him a target for the Nerazzurri in midfield.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the price tag of at least €30 million for the 23-year-old could make him a difficult objective for the Nerazzurri.

Ausilio has been keeping an eye on a number of players at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Among these has been Mac Allister, who was already on the Nerazzurri Sporting Director’s radar and made a start for the Argentine national team in their 2-0 group stage win over Mexico on Saturday.

Zanetti was highly impressed by what he saw from the Brighton midfielder in that match, as he thought that Mac Allister’s technique and tactical awareness stood out in midfield.

The Argentine is therefore on Inter’s radar for midfield reinforcements, although Brighton would already be holding out for no less than €30 million for his signature.
