Inter’s priority over the coming weeks will be to deal with the situations of various players whose contracts run out at the end of June 2023.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908, who report that after these situations are attended to, the Nerazzurri will then consider their strategies with the loans of striker Romelu Lukaku and defender Francesco Acerbi which end at the end of the season.

A total of seven players currently in Inter’s squad see their contracts run out at the end of June 2023.

The most pressing situation of course concerns that of defender Milan Skriniar, who the Nerazzurri have been pushing to agree a new deal with.

However, the likes of Edin Dzeko, Matteo Darmian, Stefan de Vrij, and Danilo D’Ambrosio also see their contracts expire at the end of the season.

Inter’s priority as 2023 approaches is to find clarity regarding their situations.

After this is accomplished, the club will consider their strategy with respect to whether or not to keep Lukaku and Acerbi past the end of their current loan deals.
