Inter cannot raise their contract extension offer to defender Milan Skriniar any higher than they have already done, but they could offer the player a sign-on bonus if he agrees to a new deal.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via L’Interista, who report that the Nerazzurri could use a bonus as their strategy to convince the 27-year-old to extend his deal rather than deciding to leave for Paris Saint-Germain.

Skriniar has yet to give a definitive response to Inter’s contract offer which has been on the table for several weeks now.

Given that the Nerazzurri do not feel that they can offer any more than they already have, this could make finding an agreement very difficult.

PSG would be ready to offer the Slovakian €9.5 million net per season if he decides against extending his contract with Inter.

However, Inter would have one possible option to convince Skriniar in the form of a sign-on bonus.
