Milan Skriniar Still Open To Extending Contract With Inter Ahead Of Next Meeting In Mid-January, Italian Broadcaster Reports

Inter defender Milan Skriniar is still very much open to extending his contract ahead of another meeting regarding the contract negotiations sometime next month.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who reported this afternoon via FCInterNews that the Nerazzurri will meet with the 27-year-old and his representatives in mid-January, and that he is still open to agreeing a deal despite the larger offer from Paris Saint-Germain.

Inter’s offer to Skriniar has been on the table for some time.

The Nerazzurri have offered the 27-year-old a new deal worth €6.5 million net per season, which is the highest that they feel that they can go.

Meanwhile, PSG’s offer is for a five-year deal worth around €9.5 million net per season, whilst there are rumours of a sign-on bonus worth around €10 million being offered by the Parisians.

Despite the much larger offer from the French champions, Skriniar is still open to extending his contract with the Nerazzurri, and a meeting will be held towards this in mid-January.
