Inter could decide to sell defender Milan Skriniar during the January transfer window in the event that he turns down their contract extension offer.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who reported this afternoon via FCInter1908 that all options are still on the table for the 27-year-old, including cashing in next month to avoid losing him on a free transfer should he decline the new deal being offered.

It should not be much longer before Skriniar gives his response to Inter’s contract offer one way or the other.

There is still a good chance of the player deciding to commit his future by signing a new deal, but also of him making up his mind on leaving for a new club.

Should the player inform Inter that he has decided that he will not be extending his contract, it cannot be ruled out that the Nerazzurri would decide to sell him for a fee next month rather than losing him on a free transfer in the summer.
