La Liga team Almeria are ready to join Inter and Napoli in pursuing Angers midfielder Azzedine Ounahi.

This according to today’s print edition of French newspaper L’Equipe, via FCInterNews, who report that the Partenopei remain favourites for the 22-year-old’s signature, but that Almeria would have the cash and the will to try and undermine them.

Ounahi has entered a number of teams’ radars across Europe off the back of his outstanding performances for Morocco at the World Cup in Qatar.

Napoli had been pursuing the Moroccan even prior to the tournament, whilst Inter have also joined them in targeting the young Angers midfielder.

However, there is also no shortage of transfer interest in Ounahi coming from outside of Serie A.

According to L’Equipe, a new contender to sign the 22-year-old has emerged in the form of Almeria.

The Spanish team are ready to spend significantly under the ownership of Saudi businessman Turki Al-Sheikh, and could make Ounahi a statement signing.
