Inter will not sell Milan Skriniar during the January transfer window one way or another.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who reported this evening via FCInter1908 that the Nerazzurri will keep hold of the 27-year-old until the end of the season regardless of whether or not he extends his contract.
Given that Skriniar has yet to agree an extension on his deal which expires at the end of June 2023, there have been suggestions that Inter could decide to cash in on him this month.
If the Nerazzurri were to sell the Slovakian for a fee with six months to go on his contract rather than letting him leave for free, it could soften the blow financially speaking.
Moreover, there is transfer interest in the 27-year-old former Sampdoria defender, and not just from Paris Saint-Germain but also from big teams in the Premier League.
According to Sky, however, this makes little difference, as the Nerazzurri are keen to keep hold of Skriniar until the end of the season, even if this means losing him on a free transfer in June.
