Inter are unwilling to allow defender Milan Skriniar to leave the club this month unless they receive an offer of at least €20 million.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, the Slovakia international is expected to leave the club as a free agent when his contract expires at the end of the season, amidst sustained interest from French club Paris Saint-Germain.

However, whilst Skriniar’s long-term future appears set to be away from the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Inter expect him to be available for the remainder of the current campaign.

PSG are reported to be contemplating moving their plans forward to swoop for Skriniar mid-season, but Inter would not be willing to allow him to leave at a cut-price fee.

The Nerazzurri want in excess of €20m, given that they would need to find an immediate replacement, and any move for targets such as Giorgio Scalvini of Atalanta, or Udinese’s Rodrigo Becao, are thought to be practically impossible in January.

Meanwhile, PSG themselves have shown little evidence that they are seriously considering pushing through a move before the transfer window shuts, and Inter have not received any transfer proposals from elsewhere.
