Inter are closely following the situation of young former Nerazzurri striker Nicholas Bonfanti at Serie B club Modena, as they would earn a 30% sell-on fee from any transfer of the 20-year-old.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who note that Bonifanti has been in some of the best form of his career which has started to attract some transfer interest with his former club potentially hoping for a sale.

Bonfanti left Inter to join Modena in 2021, helping the Emilian team to reach Serie B by getting promoted from Serie C in his first full season at the club.

Now, the 20-year-old has proven himself to be capable of making the step up to the second division, chipping in with six goals so far this season.

The Nerazzurri will be hoping that Bonfatti can continue with his development, as even though he is no longer an Inter player, when he was sold to Modena a 30% sell-on clause was inserted in the deal.
