While Inter Milan are hoping to keep Raoul Bellanova for next season, the management isn’t willing to meet the price set in last year’s negotiations.

Last summer, the Nerazzurri signed the 23-year-old from Cagliari on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

But as we reported earlier today, the Beneamata aren’t willing to splash 7 million euros to maintain the services of the wingback on a permanent basis.

But according to FcInterNews, the management is still looking to find an alternative solution to keep the Italian player at Appiano Gentile beyond the summer.

The first option would be renewing his loan stint for another season, this time by inserting an obligation to buy. But this figure will have to be lower than seven million.

As for the second solution, Inter Milan would offer Cagliari 4 million euros for the redemption of Raoul Bellanova.

Nevertheless, we’ll have to see if the Sardinian club would accept any of the two proposals.

The source adds that the Nerazzurri could even insert some of their youth players as bargaining chips to lower the cost of the operation.

The report believes that Bellanova himself is hellbent on making a permanent transfer to Inter. So he’ll be hoping that the clubs would manage to find the right formula to make it happen.

The 23-year-old made 22 appearances across all competitions last season, mostly coming in as a substitute in the second half.
