Despite the imminent arrival of Davide Frattesi, Inter Milan could still launch an onslaught on Lazar Samardzic.

The Nerazzurri considered the 21-year-old an alternative choice in case they had missed out on the Sassuolo midfielder.

Luckily for Simone Inzaghi’s side, Frattesi should arrive at the club in the next few days. Inter have already reached an agreement in principle with the Neroverdi. However, this development may not necessarily rule out the arrival of the Udinese youngster.

According to FcInterNews, the Beneamata could do with another new midfielder after losing the services of Roberto Gagliardini and Marcelo Brozovic.

The Italian left the club as a free agent while the Croatian joined Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri might need to bolster their midfield department beyond the imminent arrival of Frattesi, so signing the young Serbian starlet remains a possibility.

Inter Milan Could Still Sign Lazar Samardzic From Udinese Despite The Expected Arrival Of Davide Frattesi

Samardzic had stints at Hertha Berlin and Red Bull Leipzig before signing for Udinese in 2021. He enjoyed a stellar 2022/23 campaign, catching the eye with some wonderful strikes with his left foot.

The source believes that the Zebrette would be willing to part ways with the youngster if they receive a figure between 15 and 20 million euros.

Moreover, this could spark another transfer duel between the two Milanese giants. AC Milan are also interested in the player’s services.

Inter have already emerged victorious over their crosstown rivals on two occasions this summer. The Nerazzurri completed the signing of Marcus Thuram while Davide Frattesi should follow suit.
