Inter Milan representatives have reportedly presented two different stadium designs to officials from Rozzano and Assago.

After receiving a deadly blow in their plan to rebuild the San Siro Stadium along with AC Milan, the two clubs have now split paths. Each side is now looking to build its own venue in a different location.

The Nerazzurri have identified the Rozzano region as the right spot to build their project.

Some of the club’s directors, including Financial CEO Alessandro Antonello, held two meetings with Rozzano and Assago officials on Wednesday to discuss their plans.

Inter Milan Presented Two Different Designs For Their New Stadium Project In Rozzano

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, Inter presented two different designs. The first is an ovoid model similar to Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena. As for the second, it’s a squared design not too different from the San Siro model.

The Beneamata plan to construct a venue that can accommodate 70,000 supporters. It should also include other facilities including shopping stores. The work on the ground is expected to begin in late 2025.

However, the main hurdle for the Rozzano region is traffic management. Therefore, the parties are looking to find a solution to this dilemma.

As a result, Serravalle-Milano Tangenziale SpA (the company responsible for the motorway) is considering moving the toll booth further back for those arriving from southern Milan. This could help in limiting traffic jams in the area.
